In a spectacular event held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, India, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2024. Among the 112 contestants, Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon secured the first runner-up position in this grand affair, showcasing the diverse cultures, traditions, and beauty of India.

Expressing her joy, the newly crowned Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková, shared her excitement, stating, "Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am deeply honored to represent my country and the values of 'beauty with a purpose' on a global platform." As the reigning Miss World, Karoline Bielawska of Poland passed the crown to her, Pyszková waved to the enthusiastic crowd and embraced fellow contestants.

The event served as a platform to highlight the rich tapestry of India's culture, traditions, heritage, arts, crafts, and textiles. Participants adorned heavily embroidered skirts and blouses, treating the global audience to a mesmerizing display of India's cultural diversity. India's Sini Shetty made it to the final eight, showcasing the country's strong representation in the competition. Six Indian women have previously secured the Miss World title, including Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017).

The 71st Miss World beauty pageant was skillfully hosted by renowned Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013, Megan Young from the Philippines. Their presence added glamour to the event, ensuring a seamless and entertaining evening for the global audience.
