Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina reiterated her party's steadfast dedication to serving the people, contrasting it with what she described as the opposition's agenda of taking from the populace rather than giving. The Prime Minister made these remarks while exchanging Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with various segments of society at her official residence, Ganabhaban.

In her interactions, which included party leaders, professionals, judges, foreign diplomats, and civil and military officials, Sheikh Hasina expressed gratitude to the electorate for repeatedly entrusting her party with power. She also commended Awami League members for adhering to her directive of distributing Iftar among the public instead of hosting lavish Iftar parties during Ramadan, contrasting this approach with what she claimed was the opposition's focus on personal indulgence.

While reflecting on the differences between her party and the opposition, Sheikh Hasina emphasized Awami League's ethos of giving back to the people, in contrast to what she portrayed as the opposition's tendency to prioritize personal gain. She underscored Awami League's mission of providing for the welfare of citizens, echoing the principles laid down by the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

As part of her Eid wishes, the Prime Minister extended blessings for joy and happiness to all citizens, including those visiting Ganabhaban. Alongside her sister, Sheikh Rehana, and AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, Sheikh Hasina reaffirmed her commitment to upholding the values and vision of Bangabandhu by ensuring essential necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare for all citizens.

In her address, Sheikh Hasina's remarks shed light on Awami League's philosophy of governance, characterized by a proactive approach to societal welfare and a commitment to inclusive development. Through her words, she sought to reinforce the party's narrative of serving the people's interests and advancing the nation's progress in line with its founding principles.
