Job Description

Projonmokantho News is seeking a talented and experienced Professional Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to craft engaging video content that resonates with our audience. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in shaping our news coverage by editing raw footage into polished and compelling videos for broadcast and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Edit raw footage to produce high-quality videos for news segments, features, and special projects.
Collaborate closely with producers, reporters, and other team members to ensure videos meet editorial standards and objectives.

Incorporate graphics, sound effects, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling and engage viewers.
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in video editing software and equipment.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional newsroom or media organization.
3. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
4. Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
