In a recent tweet, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the grandson of Bangabandhu, highlighted the misinformation campaign orchestrated by BNP, accusing them of falsely blaming the Awami League for the recent spate of violent attacks.

Sajeeb Wazed, who previously served as ICT Advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, shared a video on "X" Handle (formerly Twitter), exposing the deceit in letters sent by BNP to the United Nations and various embassies. The video caption read, "BNP Jamaat lies before the world stood exposed yet again."

Victims of the recent violence, incited during a BNP-Jamaat enforced blockade, have openly accused the BNP-Jamaat alliance of being responsible for their injuries and the loss of their loved ones. In stark contrast, BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed sent letters to the UN and different embassies, wrongly attributing the violence to the Awami League.

Among the victims speaking out was Runi Begum, whose son Nahid was tragically killed. "My son was apolitical... I implore Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to bring justice to those who murdered my son and their masterminds," she stated. Another victim, Shikdar Mohammad, injured in an arson attack in Chattogram, credited his survival to the Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute established by Sheikh Hasina.

Sajeeb Wazed urged the international community to heed these firsthand accounts of victims and relatives, highlighting the terror and loss inflicted since the onset of violence initiated by the BNP-Jamaat coalition in their efforts to disrupt the election process.
