In a tragic incident on Friday morning, at least seven individuals lost their lives in a devastating head-on collision involving a bus and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Tarakanda, Mymensingh.
The confirmation of the fatalities came from Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain of Tarakanda Police Station. The collision occurred around 11:00 am, resulting in multiple injuries. Law enforcement officers were swiftly dispatched to the scene to conduct rescue operations.
OC Anwar Hossain expressed concern that the death toll might rise as the situation unfolded. At the time of reporting, the identities of the victims had not been ascertained.
